L'Ondine - Antiquaire Mermaid Soap | At the beginning of the 19th century, soap bars were stamped by hand with wooden stamps or manual stamp machines. The brand or drawing was the signature of the soap maker. Pre de Provence in collaboration with Rampal Latour created a soap mold to duplicate the old style and design of the ancient soap stamps.
